Coppet Week 2004

WHAT IS COPPET WEEK

Coppet Week is our annual dinghy regatta which takes place in the Bank Holiday week at the end of May.  We hold one race per day over 6 days starting on the Sunday before the Bank Holiday Monday.  This year the first race is on Sunday 30 May with the last on Friday 5 June.

The racing is friendly and informal.  Races are usually held on the tide.

Registration will take place at the Clubhouse on days and times to be announced.  If you want to avoid the last minute paperwork (and £5 surcharge) you can download an entry form in Adobe pdf format and post it onto us with your entry fee.

PARKING

Our dinghy park is already full to overflowing due to increasing local membership and this means that all boats will have to be kept on the beach, which most of you do anyway. Please don’t bring boats onto the Harbour car park but take them directly to the Front Beach via the slipways at either end of  The Strand, or to Coppet Hall Beach via that car park. Please be extremely careful if you take your car onto the beach and remove it as soon as you have unhitched the boat.
