Society Origins
The Society was formed in 1992 after a Community survey ‘Saundersfoot 2000’ identified an interest amongst local residents. The inaugural meeting was held on 22 January 1992 when 36 members of the public met at the Old School, The Ridgeway, Saundersfoot and agreed to form the Society.

Society Objectives
To study the history of Saundersfoot and surrounding district; its crafts, industries, architecture, its traditions and folklore, by associating together the inhabitants and local Authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance knowledge for the benefit of members of the Society and the public in general.

Membership
Full membership is open to any individual 18 years of age or older. Junior membership is also available for those under 18 subject to the conditions of the General Committee. Full membership subscription is currently £7 per annum.
